A series of four watercolour illustrations that represent the opposite perspectives of fate and free will. They all have in common the presence of a door or a trap, this threshold that separates the known from the unknown, and therefore invite visitors to open these doors.

THRESHOLDS
Originally intended to be the design of portable ashes (a tool that I consider to be of extreme importance in combating the pollution of cigarette butts), the series "Johannum" consists of 2 drawings and represents some ‘Gates of Hell’ - heiresses of Lovecraft and Beksiński; and abandoned souls who, consciously, are hypnotically drawn into them.

JOHANNUM
A series of three ink and watercolour paintings intended to represent the grandiose, yet unequal relationship between the creator and the creation, in the form of a polyptych. It is an invitation to humility—the same that determines how the creature views the vastness of creation.
